Deborah Bradshaw is a young Irish actress with a talent for accents! She moved to Sydney in 2007. Emotional, passionate, empathetic, perfectionistic, inquisitive, and driven, her professional career has naturally seen her in many roles across Film, TV, and Theatre.
Originally based in Dublin, Deborah started her performance career as a trained dancer and singer and it was only a matter of time before she progressed into acting. To date, she has completed Diploma Theatre Studies in association with Colasite Dhulaigh and Institute in Dublin, Ireland. She has since attended several Post-Graduate Acting Courses in Dublin and Sydney.
Since arriving in Sydney Deborah has secured many Theatre Film and TV roles. A finalist in the Short and Sweet Festival in Jan 08 which was filmed by movie Extra to air on Foxtel, The role of Angela in Secret Bridesmaids business at the Tap Gallery , TVC’s for World Aids Day and Foxtel, Short Films Presenting work, a role in Short and Sweet One Act’s , TV Pilot, she is a member of the Parnassus Den Ensemble which do moved readings at the Old Fitzroy in Woolloomooloo .
Deborah brings to life any role she plays, and is always willing to try new things. Deborah has a passion and drive to produce the best she can and is willing to explore the unknown in order to expand and grow as an actor. Deborah has a natural talent for comedic ad-lib and she expresses this through several accents that she has perfected such as Northern, Southern & Standard British, New York, Southern & Standard US, Eastern European, French, German, Spanish, Swedish, Indian, Australian, Northern & Southern Irish.
She continues to perfect her craft, most recent courses were the TAFTA Intensive screen test course and a blockbuster screen test course at Screenwise with Dave Newman. Deborah continues to be proactive and dedicated to the most important passion in her life !
